Grŵp Cynefin

Grŵp Cynefin is a registered social landlord operating across North Wales and North Powys. They offer a range of housing and community related services including extra care, sheltered housing, homes to rent, supported and affordable housing. Grŵp Cynefin also support the community through their community centres, homelessness prevention and community grants.

Hafod y Gest is an extra care housing scheme developed in 2018 by Grŵp Cynefin in partnership with Cyngor Gwynedd. Conveniently located, the scheme provides housing, support and care services for people over 55 years of age.

Dewi Smith, Programme Manager at Digital Communities Wales said, “The case study really demonstrates the value of digital skills and how these can help improve wellbeing. Digital skills can enhancing social connections, enable access to information and provide access to online services. Through working in partnership with Grŵp Cynefin we have been able to support people who otherwise might be digitally excluded to engage with the online world.”
