Skills and Volunteering Cymru
Skills and Volunteering Cymru has seen the incredible benefits of working digitally over the last two years. At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we saw many of our projects adapt for digital delivery and began to see the benefit of supporting people remotely. For us this meant being able to support a new demographic of beneficiaries who did not necessarily have the confidence or ability to attend projects in person.
Through this process, we have begun looking at partnerships and projects that will help us to support digital inclusion in our community and continue to support beneficiaries in new ways. Our partnerships with Innovate Trust and Digital Communities Wales have allowed us to support beneficiaries with Digital Activities on the Insight App, and also provide bespoke digital essential skill courses for adults with learning disabilities.
We will continue to work on creating new opportunities to support beneficiaries through, and connect volunteers to, projects around digital inclusion.
