Tenant Digital Engagement and Support Initiatives

We are committed to supporting our tenants in developing their digital skills and confidence through a range of accessible and inclusive initiatives.

Tenant Digital Panel

We host a Tenant Digital Panel, bringing together staff and tenants to showcase, discuss, and test new digital platforms and website developments. This collaborative approach ensures that tenant feedback is central to our digital services.

Our current project is the online housing application form, which is currently being worked on in a task and finish group by our tenants to gather valuable user insights before its launch.

Tea, Cake and Technology Sessions

To support tenants with everyday digital challenges, we run Tea, Cake and Technology sessions—informal gatherings where tenants can receive help with any technical issues.

We have also delivered a six-week version of this programme in partnership with other registered landlords, extending our reach to support more people across the island and we are looking to restart this after the summer.

Digital Skills Training and Recognition

A few years ago, we partnered with Age Cymru Gwynedd and Môn and Digital Communities Wales to deliver a 12-week digital skills course using the Learn My Way programme. This initiative significantly improved participants’ digital confidence and was recognised with a TPAS Cymru award.

We also invest in eCymru, enabling tenants to access a wide range of digital learning opportunities — from free Welsh language classes to health and wellbeing sessions and much more.

To ensure everyone has access to technology, we offer a tablet loan scheme, providing devices free of charge to help tenants build their digital skills.

Lastly, our Financial Inclusion Team has delivered a series of targeted digital sessions, focusing on building confidence, online safety, and providing one-to-one support with Universal Credit online claims and the Universal Credit portal.
