We are delighted that we have been shortlisted in the UK-wide Digital Leaders 100 award category for ‘Digital Skills or Inclusion Initiative of the Year’. We work with organisations across Wales, in order to help people increase their confidence using digital technology so they can improve and manage their health and well-being.
The rapid nature of technological change is transforming the lives of people in Wales. The National Survey for Wales found that in 2015, 21% of adults were not online. This had dropped to 10% in 2020. Digital Communities Wales exists to significantly reduce digital exclusion in Wales. Since 2015 we’ve helped 1502 organisations take practical action to increase digital inclusion, and supported 153,504 people to get online.
